Website Terms

The terms that apply when you visit this website, use its content, or contact Rift Labs.

Last updated:

These Website Terms ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rift Labs LLC website. Please read them carefully. By using the website, you acknowledge these Terms. When you affirmatively accept them, including when submitting a form that links to these Terms, you agree to be bound by them.

About this website

This website provides general information about Rift Labs, our services, and topics related to software, automation, artificial intelligence, integrations, and business operations. Website content is provided for general informational purposes. It is not legal, accounting, tax, cybersecurity, financial, or other professional advice.

Descriptions, examples, estimates, case studies, and potential outcomes are illustrative and do not guarantee that any particular result is available or will be achieved. Your systems, data, personnel, requirements, and operating environment affect project feasibility and results.

Inquiries and client engagements

Submitting a contact form, sending an email, or booking a call does not create a client, fiduciary, confidential, partnership, employment, or other professional relationship. It does not obligate Rift Labs to accept work, reserve availability, provide advice, or submit a proposal.

Any project is governed by a separate written agreement accepted by Rift Labs and the client. That agreement will define the project scope, fees, responsibilities, deliverables, data handling, intellectual-property rights, support, warranties, and other applicable terms. If a project agreement conflicts with these Website Terms, the project agreement controls for that engagement.

Information you submit

You are responsible for information you submit through the website. You represent that you have the right to provide it and that doing so does not violate law or another person's rights. You grant Rift Labs permission to use submitted information as reasonably necessary to evaluate and respond to your inquiry, operate and protect the website, and maintain appropriate business records, subject to our Privacy Policy.

Do not send passwords, API keys, payment-card information, protected health information, customer records, trade secrets, regulated data, or other sensitive or confidential material through the public contact form or ordinary email. A separate written agreement and approved transfer method are required before Rift Labs accepts sensitive client information.

Acceptable use

You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, server, accounts, or connected systems.
  • Interfere with the website's operation, security, availability, or use by others.
  • Introduce malware, harmful code, excessive automated requests, or deceptive submissions.
  • Use the website to violate law, infringe rights, impersonate another person, or transmit unlawful material.
  • Scrape, copy, or republish substantial website content through automated means except for ordinary search-engine indexing or as otherwise permitted by law.

We may restrict or block access when we reasonably believe use of the website violates these Terms, threatens security, or disrupts the website or other users.

Intellectual property

The website and its original text, graphics, branding, code, layout, and other content are owned by Rift Labs or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Rift Labs and related names, logos, and marks may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without written permission.

You may view, print, or share links to website pages for your own lawful informational or business-evaluation purposes. No other license is granted. Fair use and other rights that cannot lawfully be restricted remain unaffected.

Third-party services and links

The website may link to scheduling providers, software platforms, articles, or other third-party resources. Links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement. Rift Labs does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, privacy, products, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that service's terms and policies.

Website availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website at any time. We do not promise that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, current, or error-free, or that all content will be complete or accurate for every situation.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rift Labs and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or related to the website or these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Terms governing liability for paid services are stated in the applicable written project agreement.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory law that applies, disputes relating to the website or these Terms will be brought in a state or federal court with jurisdiction in Daviess County, Kentucky, and each party consents to that venue and jurisdiction.

General terms

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect and the affected provision will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms do not create rights for third-party beneficiaries.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. Continued use of the website after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
